overnight success [not quite]

And that was Six By Seven's farewell to arms! Nothing dramatic, nothing pretentious, nothing pomptuous, nothing... too much anything!!! One of the best guitar bands of the last decade just decided to call it a day.
But the songs remain the same... And, hey, that was a hell of a songbook...

You rarely get what you deserve these days. Music is all a matter of trends and if you don't fit (and you're from Nottingham), sooner rather than later you go back to your day job.

I knew you would comment on that... Unfortunately, you are right... It's just so unfair... They have the material to compile an excellent best-of and, still, their only [minor] hit was I O U LOVE. But, as I have said before... what a song!!!
BTW, I left some comments on some past posts of yours... Kilaidonis, Spyropoulos, Corporation jobs etc... :-)
